The Art

I usually make good use of the time spent using public transportation. I read a lot.
I recently started to read The Art of Unix Programming. A really good book: I recommend it. It's quite long, and a bit outdated (it was written in 2003, and lots of things changed) but it really gives you some good insignt.
What I learned from Taiji is that the real important part is the principle, not the technique. Unix teaches us principles, which can be applied even after 10 or 20 years. Like the principles of simplicity, transparency and orthogonality.
